Supply of high-sensitivity antibody tests for coronavirus to medical laboratories
As test manufacturer Abbott itself assures, SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibody tests have demonstrated 99.9% specificity to the virus and 100% sensitivity for IgG antibody detection in patients 17 days or more after symptom onset.
Tests will be performed on the Architect laboratory equipment, which the Aurum Medical Company also supplies. Each system can perform up to 100-200 tests per hour.
Abbott specializes in producing drugs to treat cancer, gynecological and cardiovascular diseases and offers equipment for various types of diagnosis and therapy.
